18 Hole Trophy
Great golf all around, and well played everyone! ⛳
Nine brave souls set out to conquer Wigtownshire County. We arrived before ten to fuel up with a bacon roll and coffee, but the weather had other plans. As we gathered our sticks, the rain began—and barely let up all day, relenting only briefly for a couple of holes.
Undeterred, Dave Aitken, Ashley, Tony, John and Wave battled on through the downpour, showing true grit in some seriously testing conditions. It was a day that demanded perseverance just as much as skill.
Brian, Ronnie, Terry and Dave Nielsen, unfortunately, were forced to concede defeat halfway round.
A special well done to Ashley, whose excellent round of 39 points secured the trophy—an outstanding achievement in such miserable weather! 🏆👏
John narrowly missed out with a fantastic 36 points.
Well played everyone, and thanks for making the best of a very wet day! 🌧️⛳
